John Paul Getty, the world’s richest person during the 1960s, had a foolproof, iron-clad, 100% guaranteed formula for success. His advice was, “Rise early, work late and strike oil!”
Now for those of us not lucky enough to own a few oil fields, I say there is still hope. You can hang around waiting for lady luck to come knock on your door. Or you can get busy.
And busy doing the right things!
On the whole, most of us know WHAT we need to do to be successful. So WHY don’t we do it?
Lack of motivation, laziness, fear – there are many reasons. But even doing SOMETHING, will always be better than doing NOTHING. Start hustling and you can always correct course along the way.
There are universal laws – rules for success. That’s great news because it’s not about being lucky. It’s about creating your own opportunities and comparing yourself only to the person you were the day before. No one else.
The rules of success don’t work, unless you do. Get to work!
